Heavy Equipment Operator (Full-Time)

United Dredging, based out of Ellsworth, WI, has several immediate full-time openings for Heavy Equipment Operators and Welder/Fabricators who will travel to dredge aggregate material with our Skyline Dredges and Weld/Fabricate in IA, WI, MN, IN, MI, IL, OH.

We are looking for likeminded people, that are willing to put forth the effort daily to accomplish the tasks below, while being able to maintain their focus on Faith and Family. 

-Must be willing to travel! The right candidate will LOVE to travel and see new places. 

-Typical schedule is 14 days on and 7 days off. 

-Housing and travel expenses are paid for. Food is responsibility of employee. 

-Travel is either via vehicle or airline flight, depending on distance. We have jobs all over the United States. 

-Must have sharp operating skills and be able to be trained to operate our Skyline Dredge. 

-Must be capable and willing to operate multiple types of heave equipment such as dozer, excavator, etc. 

-Candidate should possess basic heavy equipment mechanic skills. 

-Position requires physical activities such as, but not limited to, heavy lifting and climbing. 

-Candidate will be able to take direction and prioritize the work in an efficient and independent manner. 

-Must be very goal oriented. Like setting and crushing goals! 

-Applicants must be honest and hardworking. A team player capable of working alone or with others. Possessing trouble shooting skills. 

-Candidate will be subject to drug testing and motor vehicle record screening. 

-Position includes weekly overtime. 

Benefits available after applicable waiting periods, include medical, dental and vison insurance, 401k, and Profit Sharing, paid holidays, paid time off. 

This is a starting position with gross annual wages starting at $65,000 - $85,000 annually depending on starting qualifications and adjusted as your skills grow.

Welder/Fabricator (Full-Time)

United Dredging is currently looking to hire a fabricator/welder.

Job Details

• Work is mainly based at the shop location but must be willing to travel when needed to the job site to complete a project.
• Must have excellent fabricating skills.
• Machining background and mechanic skills definitely a plus.
• Must possess troubleshooting skills, the ability to visualize how to build something and be able to communicate with other crew members and our suppliers independently to gain additional knowledge needed to complete a project when necessary.
• The ability to work independently and get the job done without constant supervision is a must.

Candidate must be honest, hardworking, drug-free, have a driver's license, a team player but capable of working alone. Must be able to take direction and then prioritize the work in an efficient and independent manner.

Mechanic/Fabricator (Full-Time)

United Dredging is currently looking to hire a fabricator/heavy equipment mechanic.
